HOVER FOR YEARLY TOTAL

This section provides an overview of our financial performance, offering insights into the drivers that influence both our revenue streams and expenditures. FFS is committed to transparency and accountability and to providing our community with a clear and comprehensive picture of our financial health. We are thankful for the opportunity to share the journey of our fiscal stewardship with you.

SECTION 1: REVENUE and EXPENSES

Professional development holds a central place in our school practice. We believe in fostering the ongoing growth and learning of our educators.  Thank you to the generous support of The William C. and Balbina Ann Kashatus Charitable Foundation, Craig Sanpietro, and The T. Wistar Brown Foundation who have generously contributed funds for professional development opportunities, a fundamental component of our strategy to provide a fulfilling and sustainable career in education for our dedicated employees.

Our teachers are  our most valuable asset. The current school year has witnessed substantial increases in teacher salaries and core benefits, aimed at enhancing teacher retention and attracting exceptional educators to our school.

Frankford Friends School is a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and just learning environment that reflects the rich tapestry of racial, ethnic, and socio-economic diversity found in the city of Philadelphia. Our tuition and financial aid strategy prioritizes accessibility, and remains the most affordable among Quaker schools in the Delaware Valley.  We rely on the generosity of our community to fund all the awards we provide.

We believe that students should learn in expansive, well-lit areas that embody FFS’s dedication to a holistic education. Over the last five years, following the development of our 2018 Campus Master Plan, every building on our campus has undergone renovation ensuring that each is free of environmental concerns. Furthermore, through strategic property acquisitions, our campus has tripled in size.

SECTION 4: ENHANCING our CAMPUS

"FFS has grown with our children. And, in doing so, it has given them the space, as well as the encouragement, instruction and opportunity, to grow beyond what we imagined when we first joined the FFS community."
